Jan Van Cauwenberghe – Vice President

jan_van_cauwenberghe My name is Jan Van Cauwenberghe and I live in Melle, near Ghent.  I work as a Customs Officer at Brussels Airport.

In 2001 I became an EMT and a Firefighter for theVolunteer Fire Department of Melle in 2008.  Traveling is my passion and besides my trips to the US, you can find me between fish in tropical waters as a scuba dive photographer.

I became a member of Fire Observers vzw in 2008 and was selected for the board in 2010. The General Assembly of January 2018 appointed me as Vice President.
