This morning a group of 10 Fire Observers boarded their plane towards Florida. As of tomorrow the Fort Lauderdale Fire & Rescue Department will host them for a new training program.
This will be the fourth and final program for 2019.
During their stay in Ft Lauderdale they will be assigned to 6 different fire stations where they will respond to various emergency calls with their American colleagues.

Before heading back to Belgium the group is about to travel to Key West, Miami, Delray Beach, Cocoa Beach and Orlando for some much deserved crew rest.
Their return to Belgium is scheduled on October 15th. Neil Price and Carl Verstrepen will be the crew leaders.
